Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is coming to the Rockway stage! Our grade 7-12 student cast and crew have been rehearsing since early October and are excited to bring you this ‘sweet treat’ of a musical.
About our show…
Posing as the Candy Man, Willy Wonka is in search of an heir apparent to his amazing and mysterious Chocolate Factory. After meeting Charlie Bucket, he gets an idea to place five Golden Tickets in five Wonka bars. The winners get to take a grand tour of Wonka’s world of Pure Imagination.
Come join us and meet Charlie, Violet, Veruca, Augustus and Mike and their families, as they each get a chance to experience Wonka’s world and hope that Willy’s favour rests on one of them. Only one child will come away a winner, who will it be?

TICKET PRICE:
- Adult $20 (aged 13+)

THEATRE (Gym A) SEATING:
- Seating is assigned by row and number.
- Please triple check that you have selected the correct date and show time when placing your order.
- Select: Choose your own seats
- Seats are in a variety of levels. Be sure to read the seating chart carefully to know if you are purchasing a floor seat or a seat on one of the risers. If you are on a riser, the number noted beside the riser is the number of inches that riser is off the floor. For example, “Riser 16” would be 16 inches (one foot, 4 inches) off of the floor. “Riser 48” is 48 inches (4 feet) off the floor, etc.
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Accessible seating, with one companion seat, is available in the front floor rows of every show. To purchase accessible seating, please email events@rockway.ca
CONCESSIONS:
- Rockway’s France/Germany Exchange will be running a CASH ONLY concessions booth during intermission during the February 27, 28 and March 1 shows. Concessions during the Preview show TBD.
