Volunteer Statement of Involvement
Rockway believes our volunteers contribute to a stronger, healthier and more welcoming school community. Many activities at Rockway are dependent on the contributions of volunteers and we are grateful for the time and energy our volunteers contribute towards Rockway’s mission.
Rockway Volunteers:

- support students, faculty, and staff to achieve their learning and extracurricular goals more effectively
- build meaningful connection while modeling citizenship and humanity to the school community
- offer diverse perspectives, experiences and backgrounds

Our Volunteer Program
Our volunteer opportunities are designed to:
- give time for connection with other parents with students from the same grades
- offer a shared perspective and understanding of student life activities
- actively build community by supporting activities that define the Rockway experience
- allow accessible participation for anyone, even those within busy schedules
You will see a variety of volunteer opportunities here, from one-time events to regular or seasonal support of an extracurricular. We encourage you to check out what interests you and what to expect in each role. The Better Impact volunteer portal makes it easy to get started: Simply fill in an application form, and our Volunteer Coordinator can help guide you through the rest. Whatever your passion or skill level, we are always happy to help you get connected and find the right fit to be involved as a Rockway Volunteer.

ONGOING Volunteer Opportunities
We are looking for parents to volunteer one day a week to be the parking lot attendant. The time commitment would only be from 2:45 – 3:15 pm. Thanks for considering!
