Rockway is a firm believer in taking care of its employees’ health and well-being, physically, mentally and financially and as such, became a certified Living Wage employer in 2017. In line with our school’s mission and values, this means that Rockway chooses to pay their employees not just minimum wage, but an hourly rate that reflects what people need to earn to cover the actual costs of living in their community. Due to the inclement weather, Rockway is closed Monday, January 26. Please note the following:
Parents do not need to report on attendance
Grade 9-12 exams will be rescheduled for Tuesday
Grade 7&8 Teachers will be available for students (i.e. chat or email) should they require support or assistance with a particular assignment
All after school extracurricular activities and D8 games are cancelled
The PD day on January 28 remains the same as does the start of semester II on Thursday, January 29.
