Founders’ Day Soup Supper – Friday, February 14, 2025

What is Founders’ Day? In February 1945, the Mennonite Conference of Ontario (now MCEC – Mennonite Church Eastern Canada) envisioned a school that would prepare students for a rapidly changing world. A school that would teach the Anabaptist values of peacebuilding, instill a sense of community among its students and prepare them to be difference-makers in the world. We continue to honour this vision and mission today.

This year, we celebrate our 80th Anniversary! We will mark this very special Founders’ Day with a morning Chapel followed by a Tea & Pastry Reception for guests, then in the evening we’ll have our 3rd annual Soup Supper fundraiser followed by our Alumni Sports Challenge.

Founder’s Day events that need volunteer support:

  • Tea & Pastry Reception
  • Soup Supper Trips Week Fundraiser

ONGOING Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for parents to volunteer one day a week to be the parking lot attendant. The time commitment would only be from 2:45 – 3:15 pm. Thanks for considering!
