Choosing the right playing Flight for yourself/team.
After the inauguration of a Flight A and Flight B into the 2025 tournament, at the golfers request, we will be introducing Flight C this year.
What is a Flight?
A flight is a division or grouping of golfers within the tournament who compete against one another, rather than against the entire field of golfers. For the purpose of our tournament, flights are categorized as:
FLIGHT A – Experienced Golfers
- These are players who love golf and golf loves them!
- Average score: 90 or lower
FLIGHT B – Recreational Golfers
- These are players who may love to golf, but the feeling is not always mutual.
- Average score: 91-115
FLIGHT C – Social / New Golfers
- These are golfers who love the game but may be slowing down or just starting up
- Average score: 116+
Registering yourself/team in the right Flight
You will be asked to sign up in a particular flight at the time of registration. If you’re signing up your group of four, it would be helpful to understand the flight category of your players, as 2 or more players from one flight will categorize your flight:
Example 1 – Flight A
Player 1 – A, Player 2 – C,
Player 3 – A, Player 4 – B
- This team would be put in Flight A because 2 of the 4 players are in the A category
Example 2: Flight B
Player 1 – C, Player 2 – B,
Player 3 – B, Player 4 – C
- This team would be put in Flight B because it’s the higher category
Example 3: Flight C
Player 1 – C, Player 2 – B,
Player 3 – A, Player 4 – C
- This team would be put in Flight C because 2 or more players are in the same category
Winning your flight!
Having three flights means we will also have FOUR trophies!
- Flight A trophy – Bugs
- Flight B trophy – Golf Ball (inaugurated last year)
- Flight C trophy – To be revealed at the tournament
- Highest Score – Taz

Schedule for the day:
- 11:45 Registration opens on the patio behind the clubhouse
- Hand in your Pledge Forms and donations, buy your team’s string and mulligans (CASH only if you didn’t purchase them during registration), pick up your welcome gift, load your cart, warm up at the driving range, or test your skills at our pre-round competitions
- Lunch can be purchased at The Grill Room and enjoyed on the patio with your team
- 1:00 PM Shot-gun start
- Play 18 holes of golf – 4 person scramble format with lots of fun in-round competitions

- Win one of the many door prizes!
