Graduation Day - Saturday, June 21, 2025
It is an exciting time of year!
Rockway’s Graduation Planning Committee is in full swing, planning celebrations throughout the spring, to honour this year’s Grade 12 Graduating Class of 2025. We sincerely hope all grade 12 students are able to participate in the special events happening during Trips Week, as well as attend their graduation on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

Thanks for filling out the form. Don’t worry if you don’t remember if you ordered it or not – we followed up with everyone and we have your size noted.- Please note: there is no cost to students for ordering a gown.

- Graduation Photos – sign up for April 9 or 10
- Choir students must sign up for April 9 as they are gone April 10 and 11
- Badminton students need to sign up on April 10 as they are playing April 9
- Parents can purchase photos through Edgeimaging’s online portal. More information about photos can be found on the Messages from Admin bookshelf on myRockway
Graduation is an important milestone in the lives of our students, and our community, and we take great pleasure in planning a memorable graduation experience for our students and their families!
Trips Week Celebrations for the Class of 2025:
- Grade 12 Retreat – Thursday, May 29
- The Grade 12 Retreat is a long-standing tradition at Rockway and offers our grade 12 students the opportunity to spend time together, reflecting on their time at Rockway and their future.
- Students will select their Valedictorian for the Graduation Ceremony.
- Rockway will provide students with a special lunch.
- Grade 12 Trips Week River Cruise – Friday, May 30
- Grade 12 students will take a relaxing 2.5 hour boat cruise down the Grand River that includes a full course meal.
- Rockway will cover the cost of the lunch.
- Rockway will provide transportation to and from the river cruise. Students may not drive on their own.
- Students will RSVP for meal choices in late April.
Graduation Day – Saturday, June 21, 2025:

Please note, these times are approximate and more details may be added to this timeline as we get closer to graduation day:- 12:45 pm – Graduates arrive for rehearsal
- TBC pm – Choir students arrive for rehearsal
- 3:00 pm – Gymnasium doors open for guests
- 3:30 pm – Ceremony begins (see note below)
- 5:15 pm – Class photo and family picture time
- 6:00 pm – Reception for grads and invited Banquet guests
- 6:30 pm – Banquet begins (see note below)
- Ceremony – 3:30 pm, Rockway Gymnasium
- All are welcome to attend the Graduation Ceremony.
- There is no limit to the number of guests, however, we will be asking families to RSVP later this spring – stay tuned!
- There is no cost to attend the Graduation Ceremony.
- Banquet – 6:30 pm, Rockway Assembly Area
- Rockway’s Graduation Banquet is a limited, invitation-only event.
- Attendees are limited to the grad and their parents / guardians / homestay (up to two guests).
- The cost for grads and guests to attend the banquet will be outlined in the formal invitation mailed to students in April.
- RSVP information will be included in the formal invitation.
