Graduations are an important milestone in the life of any student. This webpage is dedicated to sharing all the ceremony and celebration plans we have in store for students and their families as we mark this special occasion for our Grade 8 Graduating Class of 2026!
GRADUATION RSVP
- Graduation invitations were mailed April 30
- Please RSVP using this link (or the button below)
- Note: Although there is no limit to the number of guests to attend the ceremony and celebration, we will be asking you for how many family/friends will be attending the Ceremony & Celebration when you RSVP.
GRADUATION PHOTOS
- INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS: Visit edgeimaging.ca to learn how to place a photo package order, and to purchase a class composite photo (NOTE: the composite is different from the class photo mentioned below)
- DATE EXTENSION: order your composite photo by June 1 at edgeimaging.ca/mycomp
- CLASS PHOTO: We will be taking a class photo after the graduation ceremony on June 18. Rockway will email parents sometime after graduation with an option to download a digital copy of the official class photo. Photography done by Cast & Crewe Photography
- CEREMONY PHOTOS: At this time, we will not be providing a photographer to take a photo of your student receiving their certificate, but we will make a photography area for parents to take a photo of their child receiving their graduation certificate.

SCHOOL DAY
MORNING ARRIVAL
- regular morning arrival time
- classes and grad rehearsal
LUNCH & EARLY DISMISSAL
- Graduation lunch at Borealis
- Grade 8 students will be dismissed at 1:30 pm (when they return from Borealis) to give students, and their family, time to prepare for graduation, eat dinner and return to school at the appropriate time
CEREMONY & CELEBRATION
- TIMELINE (updated May 20)
- 6:00 pm – Rockway doors and campus will be available for families to take photos (don’t forget, Rockway gardens is another possible photo spot!)
- 6:35 pm – Assembly Area doors will open for ceremony guest seating
- 6:45 pm – Graduates meet in the library to prepare for their ceremony entrance
- 7:00 pm – Graduation Ceremony in the Assembly Area
- 7:45 pm – Class Photo (approximate time)
- 8:00 pm – Dessert Celebration for grads and their families in the foyer, court yard and AA
- 9:00 pm – Thanks for coming!
