Welcome to Rockway!

Back to school can be scary when you’re starting at a new place, so Rockway wants to help students and their families have a smooth landing. Join us at your designated time: 

  • Grade 7&8 students and families: 9:45 am – 10:45 am
  • Grade 9-12 students and families: 11:15 am – 12:15 pm

During each of these visits, students will get to meet their peers, their teachers and learn where they need to go on the first day of school. Parents will get to meet other parents, our Admin, a few teachers and go on an outdoor campus tour. 

Before you leave, we’ll send you off with a delicious treat – the famous Rockway cookie! (don’t worry, we will have DF and GF options of this cookie as well).

Due to the inclement weather, Rockway is closed Monday, January 26. Please note the following: 

  • Parents do not need to report on attendance 

  • Grade 9-12 exams will be rescheduled for Tuesday 

  • Grade 7&8 Teachers will be available for students (i.e. chat or email) should they require support or assistance with a particular assignment 

  • All after school extracurricular activities and D8 games are cancelled

  • The PD day on January 28 remains the same as does the start of semester II on Thursday, January 29.
