Zoe and Jennie Wiebe

The funeral service for Zoe and Jennie Wiebe was held at Floradale Mennonite Church on Tuesday, February 4, at 1 pm.

It has been overwhelming to see the community come together to support the Wiebe family, as well as our school community.  Thank you for your continued support and prayers for the students, staff and faculty at Rockway and for Colin, Josh, Nat and the rest of the Wiebe family.  

Let us continue to give each other strength and grace as we begin the healing process. 

Everlasting God, 

You are our refuge and strength, a shelter in this time of need. Console us with your presence today. Ease our loneliness, dispel our fears, and revive our hope. Send your Holy Spirit to carry us through our sorrow and into the comfort of your love. Now and forevermore, through Jesus Christ,

Due to the inclement weather, Rockway is closed Monday, January 26. Please note the following: 

  • Parents do not need to report on attendance 

  • Grade 9-12 exams will be rescheduled for Tuesday 

  • Grade 7&8 Teachers will be available for students (i.e. chat or email) should they require support or assistance with a particular assignment 

  • All after school extracurricular activities and D8 games are cancelled

  • The PD day on January 28 remains the same as does the start of semester II on Thursday, January 29.
