MSN Choral Festival & Concert

April 30 - May 2, 2026

The Mennonite Schools Network (formerly Council) Choral Festival is a long-standing tradition that Rockway has been part of for over 50 years! 

We are thrilled to be hosting the festival again. This year, the festival runs from April 30 – May 2, and will end with the traditional concert, held at The St. Matthews Centre. 

The following schools will be participating in the 2026 Mennonite Schools Network Choral Festival & Concert: 

  • Bethany Christian School – Goshen, Indiana
  • Central Christian School – Kidron, Ohio
  • Dock Mennonite AcademyLansdale, Pennsylvania
  • Freeman AcademyFreeman, South Dakota
  • Hillcrest Academy – Kalona, Iowa
  • Rockway Mennonite Collegiate – Kitchener, Ontario 
  • UMEI – Leamington, Ontario

CONCERT INFORMATION

  • Saturday, May  2 @ 3 pm
  • The St. Matthews Centre, 54 Benton St. Kitchener, Ontario 
  • Freewill offering will be taken – proceeds go towards festival expenses 
  • Parking onsite: Limited Accessible parking is available on site 
  • Nearby parking garages: Charles & Benton, Queen St. South and Ontario St. South

Due to the inclement weather, Rockway is closed Monday, January 26. Please note the following: 

  • Parents do not need to report on attendance 

  • Grade 9-12 exams will be rescheduled for Tuesday 

  • Grade 7&8 Teachers will be available for students (i.e. chat or email) should they require support or assistance with a particular assignment 

  • All after school extracurricular activities and D8 games are cancelled

  • The PD day on January 28 remains the same as does the start of semester II on Thursday, January 29.
