Welcome! 

Rockway is thrilled to be bringing back our Retired & Former Faculty/Staff Breakfast; a morning for us to honour the vital role each of you played in building the spirit and community that define Rockway today. 

This year, we start a NEW tradition of adding a Retirement Induction. We are pleased to share that we will be celebrating with Steffen Pauls as he becomes the first teacher inducted into our circle of retirees and we are thankful that former vice-principal, Dennis Wikerd, will serve as emcee for the morning.

Breakfast – Assembly Area 

  • 9:00 am  Doors Open – feel free to come early to mix, mingle and meet up with your former colleagues over a beverage 
  • 9:30 am  Breakfast is served 
  • 10:30 am Retirement Induction
  • 11:15 am Group Photo 
  • 11:30 am Thanks for coming! 

Parking & Entrance

  • school doors open at 9 am 
  • please park in the north parking lot and enter in through north (side) door

Due to the inclement weather, Rockway is closed Monday, January 26. Please note the following: 

  • Parents do not need to report on attendance 

  • Grade 9-12 exams will be rescheduled for Tuesday 

  • Grade 7&8 Teachers will be available for students (i.e. chat or email) should they require support or assistance with a particular assignment 

  • All after school extracurricular activities and D8 games are cancelled

  • The PD day on January 28 remains the same as does the start of semester II on Thursday, January 29.
