OFSAA kicks off in three weeks!
OFSAA kicks off in less than 3 weeks! Rockway is gearing up to host its first province wide event: the 2016 Girls Volleyball Championship.

When our Flames kick off the event off on Monday morning at 9 am, it will be in front of a packed gym with the entire student body in attendance! Our phys ed classes have been preparing cheers and gathering cow bells to add to the noise to help inspire our athletes. Scorekeepers and linesmen have been trained and the three ball system is ready to go!
The team has been working hard to prepare for the tournament; they recently were victorious over Waterloo Oxford in their latest exhibition game. They have a few more practices left to tune up before competition starts on the 7th. The Flames will then play later that afternoon at 3 pm and the following morning at 8:30 and 11:30; all of our games will be held at Rockway.
A tremendous amount of community sponsorship has made this event possible!
There will be printed programs available, designed by St Jacobs Printery as well as OFSAA inspired clothing, courtesy of Promoshan. We are working smoothly with the Radisson Hotel to house our guests, and our volunteers will enjoy a meal at Montanas. In case of injury, Grand River Sports Medicine and Waterloo Sports Medicine are ready to assist. A big thanks also goes out to the Kitchener Rangers hockey club who are generously supporting this event along with a number of other major sponsors.
