Personal Information
Derrick has been teaching science in grades 9 through 11 since 2006. Derrick’s extracurricular activities include coaching the junior girls’ volleyball team and leading one of the grade 9 Expedition retreats. Derrick has also led Rockway trips to Quebec, the Florida Keys and China. Outside of Rockway, Derrick’s passion is exploring the outdoors through cycling, hiking or sea kayaking. Derrick lives in Kitchener with his wife Andrea Wiebe and their sons Ryland and Trenton. Derrick is a member of Waterloo North Mennonite Church.
