Note: Student course selections, planned course rotations and staffing considerations determine the courses available each school year. As a result, Rockway does not offer all courses every school year.
Rockway has a unique 5 period schedule that benefits students.
Period 1 (8:00-9:10am) offers optional elective credit courses for high school students, as well as non-credit activities (SPARK) and space for quiet study for all our students, grades 7 to 12.
Students can also choose to arrive at 9:10am for periods 2 to 5.
Grade 9 and 10 students are supported with homeroom groupings for required courses.
Rockway’s outstanding high school instrumental and vocal music program is offered in period 1, making music possible for more students.
A common lunch provides time for student connections and participation in extra-curricular clubs.
Chapel occurs twice each week, and is a time for our whole school community to learn and celebrate together.
