Alumna Feature: Amanda Klassen ('05)
Dr. Amanda Klassen (class of 2005) writes:
“After Rockway, I studied Biomedical Science followed by Optometry at the University of Waterloo. During my studies, I participated in two eye care missions; one to Belize, and one to Thailand. Both experiences were amazing and definitely eye opening! My internship was spent in Mobile, Alabama, with a team of specialized eye surgeons.
In 2013, I graduated, got married, moved into my first home with my husband Dave, and began my career as an optometrist! We are so happy to be settled into our hometown of KW.
