The Alumni Living Library is a NEW addition to the Connections Weekend festivities. Our vision was to bring together seven graduates representing the past 7 decades of education at Rockway.

We have invited the following grads to become human “books” for an afternoon.

  • Robert (Bob) Witmer ’48 Retired Pastor
  • Mary (nee Hunsberger) Schiedel ’55 Retired Teacher and Pastor
  • Brad Schlegel ’86 Businessman and Retired Professional Hockey Player
  • Konrad Sauer ‘ 89 Custom Hand Plane Designer
  • Carrie Snyder ’93 Author
  • Jenny Enns Modolo ’97 Professional Singer
  • Ashleigh Laine ‘ 08 Student

You, the “reader”, are invited to reserve a living library “book” for a 15 min load period, during which time you are encouraged to ask questions, seek advice or simply hear their story. Reservations are highly recommended – click on the button to book your times.

Meet with as many “books” as you’d like!

The Alumni Living Library will happen in Rockway’s Library. “Readers” who reserve ahead of time will get to go home with an Alumni Living Library Booklet which was created to serve as a reminder of how the Rockway story and its mission lives on!

This event happens at the same time as our public Silent Auction in the Rockway gymnasium and ends in time for you to attend the evening Entertainment Gala which is our showcase event of the weekend.
