7/8 Soccer team wins first!
The grade 7/8 soccer team had a fantastic time this year at the RIM park tournament. Faced with four back to back games in the sun against strong opponents our team pulled through and made Rockway soccer history with a tie for 1st Place! In the deciding game we were up one nothing with three minutes to go when our opponent put in a fantastic corner kick to tie. In the end we were awarded 2nd due to goal differential points.
Congratulations to everyone for your fantastic passing, solid skills, and great sportsmanship which brought us three wins and a tie. It was a great day to be playing the beautiful game!
