Grade 7 Retreat
Although the skies were not blue (it was, in fact, pouring rain for the first part of the day), the grade 7s boarded the bus for Paradise Lake camp in high spirits, eager to celebrate a new year and new friendships.
Our activities during the day included team building activities such as low-ropes and Capture the Flag, followed by high ropes and wall climbing after lunch, which challenged many of the students to reach beyond their comfort level.
It was a day full of good conversations, lots of laughter, chasing leaves and just hanging out together. The grade 7s proved that you don’t need great weather to have a great time!
