Grade 8 at Hidden Acres

Here’s a description of the Grade 8 retreat, written by students Cate Justason and Ruby Harrison.

“The Grade 8 class went to Hidden Acres for our annual retreat. At the beginning of the day we talked about working successfully with each other and did some team building games.

Then our group split up and went off to different activities. These included archery, canoeing, rock climbing, charades, and trust games.

It was fun being able to try out things that we normally wouldn’t do.  After lunch, some people went swimming or fishing. Then we all played many games of capture the flag.

Our parents showed up and we all had a great supper of lasagna and brownies. Overall it was a terrific day!”
