Happy Chinese New Year!
On February 8th, 30 international students along with three teachers celebrated Chinese New Year at Cameron’s Seafood Restaurant in Kitchener. Cameron’s provided us with a wonderful meal and everyone enjoyed a time of festivity and friendship as we celebrated the new year of the Monkey.
Our next international student outing will be tubing at Chicopee where we will get to experience some of the delights of living in Canada in the winter! For many of the students, this is their first time experiencing snow and ice! I assured them that racing down a hill on a tube with the cold wind whipping at your face is actually fun! As usual, the students enthusiasm to try something new is contagious – I know a good time will be had by all!
