Introducing Principal Ponderings
From time to time, I will post what I call “Principal Ponderings,” a short entry that will speak to a Rockway story, a joy, a challenge or simply a piece of information. I look forward to connecting in this way in the weeks to come!
I am very excited to announce Spiritual Emphasis Week, an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to engage in a topic to strengthen and enhance the spiritual life of our school. I am delighted to welcome Steve Thomas, a Mennonite Martial Artist from Goshen, Indiana, who will be addressing faculty, staff and students September 23 – 25th on creating a school culture in which students feel safe, get along and grow together. In addition to his 3 chapel addresses, he will visit various classes and be available to talk with students in-between.
Take the opportunity and talk to your child about these chapels and how he/she can build care and compassion in the Rockway community!
