iPads, iPads, everywhere!

With the high use of our computer labs and the need for more internet access, Rockway has purchased a class set of iPads available to students and teachers. Teachers can book the iPads and take them directly to class or the iPads can be used as an overflow need while students work in the library.

iPads are not new to Rockway. The Resource Room has been using them for at least two years. The wide range of educational apps make the iPad academically versatile: for polishing math skills to exploring the Bible. Students often use them to access their documents saved in the cloud or to do research on the internet.

The iPad is portable and can be toted anywhere in the school. We anticipate lots of use in second semester and beyond!
