Rockway means Business: New course offerings in 2017
Rockway Mennonite Collegiate is excited to announce a new program that will be available to Rockway students in September 2017! Rockway’s program offerings have always been connected to its mission, and this new launch is no exception. Our commitment to walk with students as they become responsible, globally minded, reflective and compassionate students will be evident in our two new Business Courses in 2017-2018:
- International Business Fundamentals (BBB4M)
- Business Leadership: Management Fundamentals (BOH4M)
Rockway students will be challenged to understand the fundamentals of international business and business leadership, while incorporating the lens of our faith and values. The importance of ethics in business, and the impact that social responsibility can make in our local and global world will be explored through curriculum and practical, experiential learning.
International Business Fundamentals will be available to Grade 11 and 12 students, and the Business Leadership will be available to Grade 12 students. Both of them are University/College Preparation Courses.
An Advisory Committee comprised of three business owners, one professor, one high school educator and one marketing strategist are working alongside Rockway administration to ensure a strong start for this new program!
