Rockway Mennonite Collegiate welcomes Director of Advancement
Christine Rier will be joining Rockway Mennonite Collegiate as the Director of Advancement, starting July 24, 2016. She may be familiar to some of you through her work with House of Friendship, where she has served as Development Director for eight years.
As a mother of a recent Rockway alumni, Christine shares a strong affinity for Rockway’s mission: “I watched my son flourish at Rockway and want to help ensure more students benefit from the same high quality education and character-building experiences that he received.”
Christine is a Certified Fund Raising Executive with over fifteen years of experience in local fundraising, mostly in leadership roles; a career dedicated to organizations in transition; and, hands-on experience with all aspects of fundraising from special events to capital campaigns.
The position of Director of Advancement is part of Rockway’s ongoing strategic efforts to strengthen its mission as we mark seventy years of preparing students for a rapidly changing world, while conserving our community’s values, traditions, and faith. Rockway has equipped countless generations of young people with a faith-based education and a global perspective. We remain committed to extending this legacy to many more students and families to come!
