SCREENAGERS Documentary & Discussion
Do you struggle as a parent with how much access to technology to provide your children? When is the right time for a smart phone? How much should they play video games? How do I help my child navigate the world of social media?
As a follow-up to our Spiritual Emphasis Week on Social Media, Rockway is hosting a screening of the new documentary “SCREENAGERS” that addresses these issues and more. Rockway students will see the film across two chapel sessions (Feb 7th and 9th). Parents and caregivers are invited to come and watch the film at an evening session, and then participate in an informal discussion. It is our hope that this shared experience will help open discussion between you and your child and provide a forum for parents to support and learn from one another.

In SCREENAGERS, as with her award-winning documentaries on mental health, Physician and filmmaker, Delaney Ruston, takes a deeply personal approach as she probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including her own, to explore struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction.
