A trip to the Falls
On Friday May 9th, the International students took a day trip to Niagara Falls. After a quick pizza lunch we headed to our first adventure, Journey Behind the Falls. Donning yellow rain ponchos, we descended into the tunnels underneath the falls. The look-out deck gave us a beautiful view of the power and magnitude of the falls. Many students took time to photograph and enjoy the spectacle before them; it really is a spectacular view!
Our next leg of the journey included a short animated film about the creation of the falls and an unexpected “ride” where we viewed the falls in a round room cinema complete with storms and water being sprayed at us! After all this excitement the students enjoyed some free time to roam around, take in the scenery and explore downtown Niagara Falls.
