Personal Information
Candace has thrived in many unique environments and she is excited to bring her experience to the students at Rockway! For five years Candace worked as a mechanical engineer where she developed her passion for connecting math and physics to the everyday lives of her students inspiring authentic learning. World travel is a passion for Candace and she had the opportunity to participate in Adventures In Mission where she was part of a team supporting grassroots service organizations. Candace also has a strong connection to the outdoors and has worked for the past two years teaching at Willowgrove Outdoor Education Centre. Many of Candace’s summers have been spent at Fraser Lake Camp managing the kitchen and mentoring staff and she is actively involved in her church community as a youth leader.

Candace is excited about joining the Rockway community where growth in character and faith are just as important as sound academic learning.
