Personal Information
A native of Brantford, Ontario, Renée Petit-Pas first came to “the big city” of KW in 1998 as a student of Wilfrid Laurier University after which she headed to the region of Ottawa to finish her Bachelor of Education and to begin her teaching career. For years she taught English in French language schools in Southern Ontario, focusing on cultivating and developing franco-Ontarian identity while serving as a bilingual role model for French-Canadian students. She continues to make time for her passions of reading, dancing and crafting while pursuing professional and leadership studies in education. Renée loves being a part of the Rockway community wherein she has the opportunity to share her culture and love of learning with students.
