Personal Information
Rebecca is a Rockway alumna (class of 2000) and is excited to be part of the Rockway faculty. As an educator in alternative education settings with children, youth and young adults for over 20 years, Rebecca brings experiences in camp leadership and staff development, outdoor recreation programming, drama education, and church youth group. More recently, Rebecca completed her Bachelor of Education and joined the Rockway community teaching humanities courses in the Jr. High. She is excited to provide opportunities where students can explore and develop their understanding of the world around them within a faith context. Rebecca is passionate about engaging student creativity and working collaboratively to build community and solve problems within the classroom environment.

When not at school, she can be found hiking, camping, playing board games with her family, or curled up on the couch with a good book! Rebecca volunteers at her church teaching Sunday school and with International Teams Canada as a Program Champion for the Impact Dominican Republic program, a program changing lives by providing clean water and education in impoverished communities in the Dominican.
