Role

As Director of Advancement, Chris will provide leadership in the areas of relationship building, donor relations, communications and the advancement of Rockway by collaboratively developing and implementing strategies that generate awareness, relationship, engagement, support and various types of donations from individuals, churches, foundations, alumni, businesses and the larger supporting constituency.

Personal Information

Chris comes to Rockway with 15 years of fundraising experience from the not-for-profit world. Before joining Rockway, Chris worked for a local conservation organization, rare Charitable Research Reserve, as the Sponsorship & Events Manager. Prior to that, Chris worked in the performing arts industry as the Development Manager for Drayton Entertainment. Chris hopes his years of experience, work ethic, dedication and passion for his work will make him an asset to the Rockway community for many years to come. Outside of work, Chris loves fishing, spending time with his wife and two daughters, visiting the family cottage, cooking and baking.
