Personal Information

Jeff is an alumni of Rockway and has also been a private strings teacher at the school for a number of years. This year he is also a Cohort Counsellor for grade 11 and 12 students. He has been a musician all of his life. As a composer, he has been commissioned by groups from across North America and New Zealand. His music has been performed across North America, most of Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Dubai and broadcast around the world. He sings professionally with the Elora Singers, and the Canadian Chamber Choir for which he also serves as composer in residence. Jeff teaches violin and viola at the Beckett School as well as maintaining a private home studio. He is also the organist and choir director at the Anglican Church of the Holy Saviour in Waterloo, where he runs a thriving choral program, which includes a monthly choral Evensong.
